Abstract
Telah diuji aktifitas anthelmintik ekstrak air buah nenas (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.) terhadap cacing gelang yang berasal dari babi (Ascaris suum) secara in vitro. Hasil menunjukan bahwa setelah inkubasi selama 60 sampai 180 menit dalam ekstrak air 2,5; 5; dan 10% b/v cacing mengalami paralisis spastik dan kematian. Dilakukan pula pengujian efek terhadap perkembangan telur menjadi telur berembrio dan terhadap perkembangan telur berembrio menjadi larva. Hasil menunjukan persen inhibisi masing-masing sebesar 85,776 ± 1,192%; 95,196 ± 0,679%; 97,040 ± 0,504%, dan 89,206 ± 0,401%; 92,366 ± 1,174%; 97,070 ± 1,510%.
