Abstract
Telah dilakukan uji aktivitas antioksidan terhadap ekstrak etanol buah cabe besar, cabe keriting (Capsicum annum L.) dan cabe rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) dengan menggunakan metode Asam Tiobarbiturat pada plasma darah manusia.
Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa ekstrak etanol buah cabe besar, cabe keriting (Capsicum annum L.) dan cabe rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) pada konsentrasi 20, 30, 45 dan 67,5 μg/mL memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang bermakna dibandingkan kontrol positif (p<0,05).
