Abstract
Ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatasL.) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang berkhasiat sebagai obat. Ubi jalar juga merupakan sumber vitamin dan mineral, vitamin yang terkandung dalam ubi jalar antara lain vitamin A, vitamin C, thiamin (vitamin B1), dan riboflavin. Pada penelitian ini, serbuk tepung ubi jalar diformulasikan dalam sediaan krim dengan konsentrasi 2%, 3%, 4%. Uji kestabilan fisik dilakukan dengan pengamatan krim yang disimpan pada tiga suhu berbeda yaitu suhu 60C (freze), suhu kamar, suhu 450C (thaw) dan uji mekanik. Pengujian kestabilan krim meliputi, pH, Viskositas, Organoleptis, Homogenitas, Keamanan. Krim ubi jalar 4% yang bagus untuk kulit.
